I agree footballers get really high salaries but do they?Do they have to pay high taxes, Agents fee's, addition insurance for injury,they on the whole have a short playing life and need to invest for the future.
I spoke to Nat Lofthouse once really interesting ex footballer, who is by no means well off now, but his pay was very high for its time at £10.00 a week.

Nat stayed with Bolton for his entire career so it surprises me about his salary. The late Duncan Edwards was getting nearly double that of Nat, or at least he used to tell us that.
