Not Covid 19

There's lot on here about the coronavirus (understandably), but aside from that, with regards to mental wellbeing, what do you like to do when you're feeling a bit fed up?

I'm lucky to live out in the sticks and by the sea, so it's easy for me to walk on one of the wee coves here. The sound of the waves always soothes me.

I enter my music workshop, select a guitar and then decide what to play whilst prepping the rest of the gear. Once I've decided I let my fingers do my mind's bidding
That always worked for me and it still does

TBH, I've not felt fed up at all over the last few months. There's always something for me to do if I want to do it.

Dog walking, gardening and baking are great cures for being fed up.

Open a bottle of red, tune into some soothing music and reach for my Kindle.

I take a good, long walk, let my mind wander and if I feel the need to say something out loud, I do! Breathing deeply when I feel the frustration of the day intruding also helps.

That's true Pam. Just had a count up and we've got at least eleven different threads about bloomin' Covid!

I don't often get really fed up, I always seem to be busy, though not as much since this wretched virus put pay to a lot of things I enjoyed doing.

I have my dogs for company, and love the quietness when taking them off across the fields on our own.
I love gardening and growing things, I read a fair bit, and have good friends.

Before Covid I did exercise classes three or four times a week too, but haven't been able to go for 6 months now.

Do you have any hobbies?

I envy you.

But wouldn't want it all the time, just weekend breaks.
