I prefer black olives - the tinned ones from Sainsbury's (Spanish olives) are very moreish. For some reason, the texture of green olives feels a lot different and a bit squidgy for my tastes.

Black ones are squidgier..

I visited Wales several times in my youth.

It rained on every occasion, except one, when we were snowed in our rustic log cabin.

Is Ludlow in Wales, I went on a young manager's course in 1968, I don't remember if it rained.

No sign of any olives in 1968
