David Wicks dead?

I must say it was a big surprise when I watched this evenings episode of Eastenders where David had a heart attack. To my viewing knowledge his character isn't a smoker nor a big drinker so it wasn't really something I would imagine happening.

Does anybody know if he survives or not?

At the very least it has brought some mild excitement to the soap, which was starting to stagnate to be honest.
