How many times have you moved house...........

I must be in the running for a record fifteen times.

I was first married in 1971 and moved to South Africa in 1972. Since then, I've lived in Liverpool, Anglesey, Wirral and finally Cheshire.

I've been in the latter for 26 years, so I reckon that's it!

We were lucky, only 3 times in 49 years. Our first place was a furnished flat in town right next to my place of work, next we got a small house when we had two children, and last we moved in with the wife's mother at her request because she couldn't be on her own when her husband passed away, that was in 1970 and we are here ever since.

Three times, twice for practicality, once for necessity.

Five times as a child and Four times during my married life.

We've lived in three different houses, our present one for 44 years.

I lived in 6 houses with my parents, 10 as an Adult, 6 flats whilst
working in London as a temp in offices and 3 abroad.
I lived in Leeds, Manchester, Nottingham and London
and in Holland and Spain.

Before anyone asks NO we were not running away from the Police

Luckily for my body I don't have to lift up heavy furniture now and
have had this house for 16 years which is the longest I have been in.

I hated moving house - there was always something you couldn't find afterwards. Also, deciding what wouldn't fit in and even worse, if it was a large item, trying to dispose of it!

I've moved house 31 times in my lifetime having lived in the UK, Spain, South Africa, the Comores and for the past 7 years in Hungary.

Six times in all. The fifth time I didn't have any choice and had to move out. My sixth home is a home that I love

Edit: no, seven. My sixth home was three months in a homeless unit, so this is my seventh
