Serene Sunday

Morning all, . . yeah it is serene here, very overcast and not a breath of wind, . . been down the park and the deer were grazing quite happily, they looked up as we approached and I could almost read their thoughts, . . " sodditt, it's the crunch bunch again ", . . they wandered off into the trees at a leisurely pace.

Serene?
Hmm - I`ve dug over a border, pruned the roses and jasmine, weeded, swept, fed the dogs, washed up, done some collating and am now off to walk the dogs. Day of rest? Pah!

Re: Serene Sunday

We're having a lovely day here, already 7 (45 F) before lunch and will make 15 by afternoon, first time we've been above normal in I can't remember when! And not a cloud in the sky, light breezes, not that persistent wind. Will do a bit of work in the garden this afternoon, chopping down the bamboo, etc.

And ...... my snowdrops and crocus appeared yesterday!

Re: Serene Sunday

Evening all-had a very 'restful day' today.....went walking this morning-seemed like all the world was out because it was such a lovely day. Then did a load of washing and even got to hang it out and get it dried-seemed such a long time ago since I've been able to do that! Then my sister came round for tea. After taking her home it was time to relax again.......

DM - so glad you've had a decent day at last; doesn't it warm the soul?
My day was good; we had a beautiful gin-clear day, wonderful from behind glass but soooo cold outside. Went over for lunch with my mum - she's fine and the rescue dog is wonderfully settled
