Funny you should mention witches--I was born and lived in my formative years at Roughlee Old Hall in the village of Roughlee which was the home of Alice Nutter before she was hanged as a witch at Lancaster Castle.

Hiya MerzThank you, and nice to meet you as well. You're not far away from me at all. The company I work for does a great deal of electrical work for Chorley Council - not the houses though.
I'm already enjoying the forum and chatting to the lovely folk here.

I've worked at my current place of employment for coming up to 28 years so there's a chance you'll have known a few people I dealt with, such as Jack Neary and a few others, which I'd best not mention on the forum as they may still be around.
It's split down now between Liberata and Chorley Housing, and we do work for both. As you say, it's a small world.
