Re: Labour leadership

It's hard for any party to supply a socialistic conscience soothing policy, with, a capitalistic twist.

it happened once, but ended in tears.

Re: Labour leadership

Not sure if i were labour who i would pick out of the candidates .....i suspect Rebecca Long Bailey will get it which probably means more of the same.....

I notice that Jess Phillips has tidied herself up recently ....she always looked as if she and her clothes needed a really good wash.....I would have no confidence in a candidate with such poor personal hygiene standards.

Just heard Barry Gardiner is considering standing too....I don't know much about him .....doubtless I will in a few days

Keir Starmer could well get the union votes....it's anyone's guess

Re: Labour leadership

I've just seen on the news that 'Momentum' are recommending that Labour Party members support Rebecca Long - Bailey for the new leader

Oh yes, Wonderful! Bring it on!

Just heard that woman talking BS on the Andrew Marr show .
Does she dwell on the same planet as the rest of us or is it me that lives in a parallel world ?

Re: Labour leadership

I don't just think it's That Woman, Muddy, they're all very much alike

I watched Clive Lewis on TV this morning, telling us we're racist and xenophobes
Though I must admit, i didn't listen to all of it, just enough to get the gist, then I had to switch off

AFAIK all the contenders are Remainers, presumably soon to become Rejoiners

That's just the thing to win over the electorate!
How on earth do any of them expect to win the next election?

Re: Labour leadership

The problem is Momentum still holds control along with the Unions and they are still trying to push their beliefs by disguising them as something else. They still think they can decide what s good for us and then sell it to us like a salesman sells a product, instead of asking what we, the majority want and working to provide it.

That arrogant attitude comes for the Champagne Socialists, Social Elites, Academics and B-list Celebrities who form most of the establishment these days. you can be sure whatever is decided for the masses won't apply to them
