I’ve no experience of a double door one
I didn't realise it was a double door, til it fell off. It was only stuck on with some sort of glue too. Weird!

Yes throw out droopy doors before you have a more serious accident and make the floor messy

Any ideas as to what glue I should use to attach it on again?
Should I get it professionally done instead of doing it myself?

All replies gratefully received.
Buy a new one, let's face it you can buy a microwave oven for $50.

As others have said they can leak radiation but I suspect that the Faraday cage grill is made of sterner stuff that the outer door and definitely won't be glued on because it should make electrical contact with the rest of the case.

Sounds like the ' outer ' door is only glued onto the actual
micro wave door as a means of making the micro-wave front
match the oven Tiffany? so it will probably be ok!
But you must check with the makers first before re-glueing to
the actual door!

Thanks Donkeyman. I did wonder about that, though it does have the Electrolux logo on the part that fell off. I am trying to find someone to look at it.

That makes it more likely that the actual microwave part of the
oven is a standard model fitted into a different style conventional
sort of oven unit Tiffy, but still check with electrolux first!

Do you have to open the outer door to set the microwave or are the controls on the outside? Sounds like the outer door is cosmetic to match your kitchen but best to consult an expert.

Controls are on the right of the door, Scot. In the surround.
I will get someone to look at it & take their advise.
Many thanks to all who replied.

I offer this advice as a professional electrical engineer.
Ditch it.
