Miners holiday camp Skegness.

Perhaps some of out members from the Midlands will remember it.
I thought it had closed down years ago but it must have opened again - Now called the Miners Retreat.
A coach company near us have a five day holiday there - full board - only £120.

I've booked it for Tony & me. Hope I don't regret it - it's just TOO cheap!!

I feel the same Carol ... I've booked Pontins Adult Only in Weston Super Mare on 7the March for 4 nights DB&B in a club apartment with wine and chocolates on arrival, bottled water and orange juice each day and a daily newspaper + early check in which is an additional £10 per person in a non-club apartment ... All for £89.50 each !!! Self drive though.

I was there in 1971 and the main road coming up from the front was a seaside town street with old shops either side. One side looked very open. I wasn't keen, I like the old fashioned resorts
