Back of Bourke

Two days in and I am in northern NSW at Bourke.

Yesrerday stopped at Dubbo overnight after a 456km drive. Stopped at Mudgee for Lunch.

Today only 400km to Bourke, from Nyngan to Bourke the road was built by the Romans (The lost Legion of the Ninth - took a wrong turn leaving Gaul and built Australian roads). With cruise control no driving required at all just jammed the wheel with my knees.

Queensland tomorrow.

Glad it's going well Bruce and finding your pictures interesting, but could you perhaps label them so we know what we are looking at ?

EDIT I will name the photos first then you should get some idea of where they are - I didn't realise the file name showed.
