I enjoyed it, I don't know how bodyguards are vetted but as an avid crime/spy type story reader the main protagonists alway seem to be alcoholics or have some other problem in their private lives so I wasn't surprised.

Quite however if you were a nurse or doctor and were watching a drama where a surgeon was using fire tongues during an operation it would I sure give you pause for thought.

I reckon it's true of all professions. I often see programmes where a 'plumber' is under the sink with a wrench and stops a leaking tap. I just think how did you manage that?

I really enjoyed it. It was tense and gripping.
I'm waiting for Gina McKee to make her appearance as the chief inspector. One of my favourite actresses.

Shame the second part clashes with Adrian Chiles' programme about his battle with alcoholism on BBC2 at the same time tonight though, which I'll have to find time to catch up tomorrow on iPlayer.

Reading the thread title I thought it may have been about the film with the god-awful Whitney (the Screecher) Houston. Happy to read that it isn't and it may be something actually worth watching.
