Blue Tits,Surely Not!

Looking for a nest site,already?
I have a nest box,right next to my window,I can watch it fly in there,and it is constantly tapping with it's beak,I believe,there is still a nest in there from last year,or maybe it's roosting,can anyone throw some light on this?..I find their habits interesting.

Blue tits roost together in their nests during the colder months. Some of the blue tits in our garden roost in the vent from the extractor fan. I can see them and hear them going in and out.

Yes looking for somewhere warm to live out the cold months. It's a bit late ours usually settle in early November but only last week were back under the eaves.

Yes Pauline, they are looking for nests already, my Blue Tits and Blackbirds are looking at the moment.

I think the milder weather,may have something to do with it,susiejaeger,we only have a few more months,then it will be Spring,...should I leave the old nest in the box?..I took it out last year,and they nested,..I don't want to disturb them,then scare them away.
