Can someone remind me who is the character who is 'partnering' David Marsden?

I have watched all the series, but I can't for the life of me remember who she is!

I mean, who the character is, and how she came to be with David.

Pyxell, All I know is.. she appeared in Happy Valley with Sarah Lancashire. I think she may also have appeared in Benidorm.
I have absolutely no idea what her name is but she is a good actress!

Snap Mups. I have tried watching so many times in the past but just couldn't get into it but I thought last night's was good and will be watching next week.

What I didn't like was the amount of time it skipped forward whereas last night's didn't seem to do that so much.
