Question Time - Abbott

Anyone watching Question Time right now

Abbott is utterly appalling. How could anyone contemplate voting this woman and her shambles party into government?!

She has no clue, can't put forward a cohesive argument.

So embarrassing for Labour, such a liability.

Oh dear, why do labour let this woman loose on Question Time if they want to display any credibility ....

I think she is a secret weapon for the Tory party.

When she went on a tour of Rome recently on a visit, she went to see the famous work of Michelangelo and remarked "If this is his sixteenth chapel, I'd like to see the other fifteen"

Re: Question Time - Abbott

This is one of the topics on www.order-order.com, with its usual selection of forthright comments

I stopped watching QT months & months ago, out of frustration and annoyance at the BBC Bias and that it usually degenerates into a shouting session, but I watched part of it tonight as The Abbopottamus is usually good for a laugh, as long as you can withstand the cringeingly embarrassing performance

There seemed to be a fairly high proportion of Leavers in the audience tonight
I can't remember the exact words, but someone said that the problem with Brexit at the moment is that the people would be happy enough with a No Deal/WTO, but Parliament is blocking it. That got a fair amount of support and applause

Re: Question Time - Abbott

It must run in the family; Under the headline:

'You are embarrassing': Tony Abbott slapped down over Brexit claim

The SMH went on to say:

Former prime minister Tony Abbott has been accused by experts of lacking a "basic grasp of economics" and being "embarrassing" after attempting to intervene in the Brexit crisis.

Moments after UK Prime Minister Theresa May's Brexit withdrawal plan was rejected by the UK Parliament on Tuesday, making it more likely the country would leave the European Union without a governing deal, Abbott tweeted: "What’s wrong with no deal? Australia does $100 billion a year in trade with the EU without a deal."

...but that's the conservatives for you, they wouldn't know which way was up.

Hi

A view from an Ex Enforcement Officer.

If she becomes Home Secretary, there will be mass resignations.

Nobody will put their life on the line for her.

Lacking a basic grasp of economics seems to be mandatory for remainers as does the art of negotiation.

Diane Abbott seems to lack a basic grasp of anything

Re: Question Time - Abbott

The trouble with Diane is she is so well loved by her constituents she will never lose her seat. Apparently she is a fabulous constituency MP just absolutely appalling any higher up. I always think she must know where the bodies are buried to have lasted so long as she is clearly unable to do that job. Mind her affair with JC might have something to do with it I suppose.

I don't think remainers are the only ones with that problem.

71 days to go and still neither side has any idea of an outcome.
