Re: Perks of the job

We had a free staff bus for a while, 10% discount on meals in the hospital restaurant and reduced membership fee for a local gym.

Re: Perks of the job

I had a few “ unofficial “ perks at some jobs I’ve done, I did have use of a company van before the government taxed it

The only thing we had was Luncheon Vouchers, that only lasted for about 5 years then they stopped giving them out.

Re: Perks of the job

Bananas at the end of the week no one who brought in bananas for their lunches appears to have eaten them so I get to bring them home. Also biscuits from the meeting rooms if they don't eat them I get them.

I also do a bit of a swap I take in the forbidden bleach that gets their sinks properly clean and they let me take a ream of paper when I need one.

Working in one of the best hospitals in London, gave me access to some of the best Surgeons and Physicians in the country, and therefore no waits and the best care in the world for not just me, my entire family

We used to have free lunches every day if we worked during lunchtime shift.
