Bloody mindedness is a two way street, and personally i've never believed there was any profit from generating it.

Yes. They keep coming, don't they?

I seriously wonder whether the desperate EU have been planting fifth columnists in our midst!

You say that but you're biased about this subject Julie. You want brexit at any cost because you hope it will trigger a Marxist revolution in the UK. So you don't care what economic chaos no deal with bring, in fact you probably welcome that aspect so that it leads to massive fractures in the fabric of our society, political instability and welcoming of a socialist future.

For God's sake, don't be so absolutely ridiculous.

Re: Online Brexit petition

Hi

A condescending view from a complete arse who knows nothing.

No Deal means Juncker has won, the worst possible outcome for the UK.

I may be wrong, I hope that I am.

May I enquire who is the 'condescending complete arse'?

Re: Online Brexit petition

Here's something to ponder

We have our own dream and our own task.

We are with Europe, but not of it.

We are linked but not combined

We are interested and associated but not absorbed.

f Britain must choose between Europe and the open sea,

She must always choose the open sea.

It wasn't the people that sold the UK and its sovereignty and its judicial system down the river to the EU Barry. It was fraudulent Common Purpose operatives in our government drafting and pushing through contracts, acts and EU Treaties without consulting the populous or giving them any choice. That is unforgivable for such a huge life impacting change.

People are going to get hurt with any EU Exit. It is unavoidable. The EU is not going to "come quietly". It is a screaming bitch that will only go away if we sever the connection ourselves properly.

This persistent fantasy that there can be some kind of mutual middle ground, some happy compromise is just nonsense. There are £billions at stake and so the EU is acting ruthlessly to ensue we don't leave at all.

If we do actually manage to have the guts to walk away with "No Deal" these same megalomaniacs will do everything in their power to make our lives a misery. They will continue to seek to punish a populous that dares to stand up and oppose their empire.

It's clear that you really don't want to Leave at all imo.

You'd be happy to take the deal on the table for a "quiet life" even though it means we wouldn't really be leaving the EU.

Sorry but that's not acceptable.

We must Leave

Totally, unquestionably, irrevocably, no grey lines, no half-in half-out.

We leave first, in that way, and then invite the megalomaniacs to the negotiating table to see if they then want to set up some kind of trade deal. They would come, they need the money, they need the trade, just as we do.

There is no way of leaving in an "orderly and controlled manner" as you put it.

None at all.

Because the EU won't let us leave, they have no intention of letting us leave, so there is no chance at all that they would agree to some orderly Exit. Staying in the EU is all they will support end of.

We must take the pain of a straight cut divorce. Step 1.

Then we must proceed with Steps 2,3,4 and 5
