We already have controls for imports from the rest of the world.
You are the authority in this field bread. If UK customs waives controls on goods from the EU, don't wto-rules dictate that all others should receive the same lax treatment?

Hi

Exactly right Solasch.

We are going to WTO Rules.

We will have to apply the same to all Non EU Imports.

A recipe for a disaster.

It is not taking back Control, it is a free for all.

I am seriously not happy about this.

It has destroyed our negotiating position with the EU.

It has also destroyed our Negotiation position with others.

They now know they can wait to get a FTA with us.

Your hysteria isn't fooling anyone.

Even if we had an FTA with the EU we would still be trading on WTO terms with the rest of the world

Strange how this comes as a surprise to you after its been talked about fir over 4 years.

Indeed you would, since all those roll over agreements are yet in the coming.

Well, nobody at the begin of brexit could have thought that britain would squirm and wriggle, like creatures in a drop of water. No one in the EU watching human affairs in the UK over that immense space of water called the channel, could have dreamed that british demise would be so total. After all those big words about taking control of borders, you now open them to everything and everyone.

Yes unless we have separate agreements. But why would we do that?

They are on the governments web site if you bothered to look.

I suggest you go and figure out how trade works. You've yet to post anything that makes any sense. Your confusing borders trade and economics.

Because the rules (you know what rules are?) say you must do that.

Not all of them but why would we roll over all our trade deals ? A lot of them we can do better and the EU doesn't have any FTAs complete or ratified outside the single market anyway.

Stop trying to twist words and argue points i never said.

Remember you live in a country that's never got on the top 10 of world economies.
