This butterfly landed on my hand some years ago and stayed long enough for my to photograph it.

How do you get a half decent photos of a Red Admiral under these conditions ? Trying out manual focus



Best I could do was this taken just after video



Nikon D810 Lens Nikon afs 80-400mm @400mm. Shutter speed 1/1600 sec at f9 . ISO 1800
