dizzyness

This is how I have been for the last few weeks, not actually head spinning but certainly "buzzing" a lot. Seems it is a sign of dehydration, so now I am drinking water like a fish to try and get back to normal. This intense heat here hasn't hepled

Re: dizzyness

It could be a lot of things.

I suffer from vertigo & often have that dizzy feeling.
Also it could be a problem with the inner ear or low blood pressure.

These are ailments I've had myself that cause dizziness.

I'm sure there are many more...

Did your GP tell you that, RS?

I agree with Carol's post.

Also, you can usually tell if you need to drink more by the colour of your wee.

Re: dizzyness

don't what to bother the Dr abut it, too many run to the Dr over the most minor things when they have enough to deal with. Already taking a tablet for high blood pressure and that is now within the "normal" range
Its just a heat thing which also brings out a heat rash on the arms

I get vertigo too, on & off, got it at present but it isn't bad, only when I lay down or get out of bed at present. I just pause til it goes. I haven't bothered the GP about it either, though I would if it was all the time & worse than it is.

RS, if yours gets worse you should get it checked out.

Re: dizzyness

R.S.. I've felt like that recently, and I read somewhere that dehydration can cause it , but as Carol said...so can other things...I usually feel a bit dizzy when hanging my washing on the line, always have to sit down once I'm inside, I keep a check on BP and it seems to be fine

I've had that problem for five years. Google The Epley Maneuver. It did not work for me but apparently it works for many.

Re: dizzyness

It can also be caused by a problem in the inner ear, where balance is regulated. Dizziness is often a result of vertigo as well.

Yes, that is true.
I think RS should get it checked out if it keeps happening.
