No but my father gets this all the time. Apparently it’s from too much uric acid in the system which can be caused by eating too much purine from seafood, drinking too much alcohol particularly beer, drinking caffeine since it’s also dehydrating, eating too many organ meats or fried foods, beef ( too much purine ) too much fructose, rich sauces and shellfish.Re: Gout
My knee is at times affected by what the medical profession call pseudo-gout. It's similar to gout hence the 'pseudo' description. In me it affects my knee after sustaining damage to the joint and cartilage in a motorcycle accident some 50 years' ago.Re: Gout
