Hi

Rain, Rain, Rain Again.

My new house is on heavy clay, completely saturated.

I have 2 inch of water outside my Front Door, the drains cannot take it.

The Street Gully in the road is blocked, four complaints to the Council and nothing done, it is overflowing down my drive.

This will cost them a mint, I have recorded every call.

We also have a bit of flooding outside our back door when its heavy rain, as we live at the bottom of a steep hill, so all the rain flows down to us.

Its also raining here.

Off to do my weekly shopping this morning.

Good morning everyone

Terrible rain here yesterday it was like a monsoon we never saw light it was an awful day. It's still wet outside but not raining right now....fingers crossed it stays like that.

I had two really busy days helping to move house for my son I ache all over...having a rest day today but going back tomorrow to help sort things out.

Hope you survive the flooding swims.

Good morning everybody.

I'm waiting for workmen to descend. My new bathroom flooring isn't as watertight as it should be it's so all got to be ripped out & re-done. Sunday is their only day!!!

I shall go out for most of the day & leave them to it.

Lots to do - I'm hoping to get the last of my present buying done today - take the car to be cleaned - take some tiles back to B&Q - shop for my Christmas booze etc..

No flooding here thank goodness.

Just back from walking the dogs and nothing planned, but something to do will turn up you can bet...
