Re: New garage doors

Have you got remote , so they can be opened at the touch of a button?

Oh yes 2 remotes for each door and internal panel and hand crank for power failure. Not as expensive as i expected just over £1600 in total including new frame on right door and pannelling above

Great.I know you maybe think I am being picky here but why is one smaller then the other ?
Can you fit a vehicle into each ?

Re: New garage doors

The prevoius owner had a large camper van so he made one side large enough to garage it in. the one on the right is wide and big enough to take my wifes Kia ceed estate in.

We have reduced to height and panelled in the top. Had to do this to fit the winding gear in behind

Re: New garage doors

Realspeed, they look good.

May I ask the reason for making the left garage opening larger/taller?
Was that a previous owners alteration?
Possibly for a van?

Edit: beaten to it.

Re: New garage doors

The length of the garage is about 48 ft long if my memory serves me correctly.
The left he kept the camper van in and a car in the front part. The right hand side takes the Kia and behind is a workshop ( not a garage type one) incorporated within the whole structure

These new roller doors are far more secure than what was here before and if anyone tried lifting them the alarms on them are loud, I know we had a demo and I was right beside it

Re: New garage doors

To be honest I prefer the look of the old doors (but I don't have to live with them)
