Re: Minimal, in between or cluttered.

I've downsized umpteen times, so each room would probably classed as organised (or tidy ). Not over stuffed, just enough. 'Comfy' I s'pose.

My bestest house was the typical high ceilings, large skirting boards, picture rails, cellars.... the sort of house that needed lots of colour on the walls, 'the dresser touch', the china/jars/pottery and stuff displayed, baskets, antiques bits and bobs, lots of plants and ferns ... you get the drift.

I've always thought a house style dictates what suits it inside. So, all the above is long gone. The last house was 60s era, this is 60s bungalow, so none of the above applies now

Re: Minimal, in between or cluttered.

Mine is minimal, I don't like clutter, however, behind wardrobe doors, cupboards, understairs I don't like opening them because I fear things will fall out lol. My husband is OCD and buys stuff for the sake of it and buys tins and stuff for cupboards in threes so my store cupboards are fit to burst, it drives me nuts but he can't help it

Re: Minimal, in between or cluttered.

I de-cluttered in 2007 but many years have since passed and much more stuff has been bought.

The way I have my living room laid out is not the most space efficient but it suits me. It does however appear very cluttered. I've tried to minimalise but there's just too much stuff

My cupboards are tidy though!
