Coronation Street Tour

Wasn't sure where to put this question so opted for the General, hope thats ok.

Has any of you ever been on the Coronation Street Tour? If so, was it any good? Just thinking I might see if any of my friends fancied booking it for a day out

Re: Coronation Street Tour

I went about 20 years ago Queenie. We enjoyed it very much - had a pint in the Rovers etc

The most surprising thing was they weren't real sized houses. They were only 3/4 the size of a normal house.

I'm not sure but I think it's in a different location now. It will probably be better.

I went just before (or after) I met the ladies from here in Manchester a few years ago, and enjoyed it.

Re: Coronation Street Tour

I used to work for Granada Television - light years ago - and they gave us a trip down Coronation Street. That was in the Elsie Tanner/Len Fairclough/Annie Walker days - and it was great fun!

Re: Coronation Street Tour

Queenie, you've set me off. I've just booked to go on a tour in February.
It's a coach trip with National coaches including an overnight stay.
