Re: Vegetables.

Good : Runner beans, tomatoes, potatoes, parsley, chamomile, basil, peas.

Rubbish : beetroot, brussels sprouts

The key this year was position of the beans and tomatoes in a place that was not exposed and in pots stacked on two tiers of bricks to put the slugs off.

Still lots of things went to seed, the rocket for a start. Apparently you can eat the flowers but it's nicer just to look at them.

Re: Vegetables.

Loads of tomatoes, they're doing really well.
Tasty carrots, will pull some more today for my dinner.
Salad leaves sown in succession - one lot got eaten completely overnight! The next 4 sowings were all successful and really nice.
