Sounds nice. Have you ever tried Bubble And Squeak made from leftovers? Great way of using leftovers instead of wasting them.

Re: Corned beef hash.

I'm getting ready to run out at the end of this post in case someone has a go at me.....
I occasionally make CB hash. Though I don't know why

It always sounds nice and I think it will be nice, but it's a big let down. I hate the C.B. disintegrating for a start, I want it to stay in cubes! It's a take it or leave it type of meal for me.

I even see it in the fridge section of the s/market. Do people really buy it ready made?
I'd much rather make a casserole and dumplings. Now that I could rave about!

Am I the only one who just doesn't get C.B hash?

I feel the same way as you .....

Now and again I'll try yet another recipe but, usually, halfway through eating the result, I'll think "why did I bother?", bin the remains and make a cheese and onion sandwich to "fill the gap" .....

I agree. Spam is nasty. People who have never tried home-made corned beef hash don't know what they are missing. Served for breakfast, with eggs over easy and raspberry preserves on toast. Yummy.

Yep, don't like it, Corned Beef should NEVER be raised above room temperature, and generally restricted to a Sandwich.

That's a new one on me. Who said so ?
Hot corned beef sandwiches are common In the U.S., as is corned beef hash.
