Dining out

A lot of cafes and restaurants in the town are in very old buildings and restrictions because of new rules will struggle to keep going. Their income will be reduced but the overheads and extra expense to comply will likely mean reduced opening hours, less choice on menu and price increase.

Met someone who owns a restaurant, the seating capacity is to be nearly halved so are considering take away menu.

Re: Dining out

This is why it really isn't worth stores like Primark opening, with social distancing in place. There could not be enough footfall through the store to make a profit.
