Then there's the wee toddler William Tyrell, in Australia, who has also vanished without trace. When we were in Oz, Doreen was talking about him. All these weeks on, there hasn't been any sighting whatsoever. He went missing within minutes. His profile is now being circulated on Facebook. God love the wee mite, and hope, somehow, he's found safe and well.

So the McCann's didn't get the £100000 they asked the Portuguese for. As if they deserved it anyway. They never cease to amaze me.

They deserve nothing ... i hope they have the grace to give it to a charity for missing people ... sorry no sympathy you dont go out and leave your kids in a room alone ... I dont even do that to my dog.... he comes with me or i stop in ....
I hope the child is well and with a family who take more care of her

To be fair they have always given all they have received in compensation over the years to the find Maddie charity, so they don't usually actually keep the money they are awarded. Would be nice after all this time if they could embrace giving to some of the more recent lost children to help find them before time moves on too far like it has with Maddie.

I think you are mistaken that they have given the money to the Maddie charity Julie. For one thing it has never been a charity, it is a private limited company set up to give the Mccanns and their extended family financial support. All the original directors of the company left and the Mccanns are now the sole directors.

Personally I believe the Mccanns know exactly what happened to that child and no matter how many "high profile" people they have on their friends list, I quite simply think the whole thing has been a big whitewash, the reason why I doubt we will ever know, but this case has smelt worse than a warehouse of rotting fish since day one.

I've no interest in the parents. I don't like selfish, neglectful parents. However, I've said it all before. I do think it's a cheek that they're phaffing about with money. It would be the least of my problems if I'd left my child alone in a room while I was socialising. They deserve nothing.
