Sundays are a slow news day, there's only one channel on with news at nine am, and none at all at noon. I suppose I could have checked on line, but I tend to get my news from the paper and TV. They'll probably be something on at 6 pm, only one news broadcast then also, the rest are doing college football...

I just noticed I said Sunday ... it's Saturday, but the news blackout is the same both days. Why are we supposed to be interested in the news Monday thru Friday, then mostly sports over the weekend.....???

Eileen darlin' - apparently it splashed down in the Pacific just off the West coast of U.S. but bits of it landed in the wilds of Canada too!!! according to news here yesterday.

Yes, that finally made the 11 pm news last night; I hope no moose were killed in Canada, and you not there to harvest the steaks!
