Re: Email Provider

Mine's back on track now. I think it was down for maintenance or something, but I've deleted everything I don't want to keep.

I've really had very few problems with Yahoo, some of it being my own silly fault, and I get no spam whatsoever, so I'm fairly happy with it.

It was, but there was no harm done.

Re: Email Provider

Having problems again with my email. I received one from Pixie a short while ago, which I was able to read, but it's now not showing in in Inbox. All received emails are now showing as not being in date order but are mixed up.

I haven't touched anything to make this happen, so methinks I's't be having strong words with Yahoo tomorrow.

Edit - Now it's calling me a liar. It's gone alright again. Grrrr!

Re: Email Provider

I've had Outlook Express for ages now, and never had any problems, touch wood. Will be a bit put out when I switch to Windows 7 in the future, when SP runs out, as they don't do Outlook Express.

I don't use Outlook Express, it was useless, I use Hotmail.

Re: Email Provider

As I said, I've had Yahoo for ages with no problems, but do have a back-up just in case (I always have a Plan B!): gmail.com. It's OK too.

Re: Email Provider

I use fastmail.com as my email account along with gmail for junk mail. If you buy computer software, magazines or hardware and give an email address I always use my gmail address. Those suckers sell your email address and you start getting tons of junk mail, spam. I now use a Mac computer exclusively which is much less prone to computer virus attack. All that junk mail can be selected at once and sent to the trash bin.

Re: Email Provider

When mine is working it's excellent, but I do have a tendency to store rather than delete so, what happens is, things start to take longer to load.

Thinking about it, it's probably my own fault for these problems I have occasionally, but I do have other email addresses as well, which quite honestly I rarely use.

I never get junk mail with Yahoo, except perhaps one on the very rare occasion.

I used to have Outlook but couldn't abide it and we use that at work, which is a darned nuisance with all the spam we get.
