I have to see my consultant/ specialist, Dr Scheuermann.for the results..they didn’t mention a consultation with her....but with luck she may be at the Sherborne building...I’m going to phone tomorrow and ask when my follow up to see her will be.
Good luck pauline, it's fascinating to watch, although my experience was when I had stents fitted and they fed a catheter into my groin and up into the heart. They injected a dye and all the arteries and veins lit up and looked like tree roots. I could clearly see the offending artery that had become blocked and diseased. It looked so much better when the stents were positioned. If it's any relief pauline, I still get palpitations and also suffer from irregular heartbeat, but I was told it was normal.....It's still a bit worrying though.....

Re: Heart Scan.

I had an Echocardiogram about 10 days ago, Pauline, and 2 CT scans a few weeks back, too.

The Echo took less than half an hour and was quite painless - except when he pressed the darn scanner too hard!

It'll soon be done and over with Pauline, and I' m sure you'll be fine.
Perhaps your palpitations are just because you are anxious.

Evening Mups.....

I told the specialist not to give me any procedure that I couldn't spell....Because I would have to write a report about it on Over50's...

I had what you had OGF ,obviously without the stent, mine was put in my wrist, just to make sure my arteries weren’t blocked ,before I went in for surgery, the consultant told me I had veins like a man.

Sorry to hear that Mups, hope you’re ok, yeah it’ll soon be over, I ve been having scans on my heart for years, I’m a little concerned about the repair that was done, I’m sure it’s fine, as you say, probably down to being anxious.thanks for the well wishes.

Did you manage to get all that darn jelly off, that they stick on us?..

Yes, it is certainly messy stuff isn't it, and the bits of paper roll they give aren't a lot of help are they.

Re: Heart Scan.

I hope all goes well Pauline. The palpitations might be because you had an untreated dental infection. It's a shame they can't move the appointment until you are off meds and healed.
