I have a very simple view of life.

Having sex with someone the same age as my daughter is simply wrong.

Why? If she's not your daughter and is over the legal age of consent and is of sound mind and it is consensual where's the big deal?

The problems arise when (a)local laws dictate that this is NOT a legal age of consent and (b)someone spends a lot of time and money to deny they have broken the law.

Epstein was wealthy enough to have carried out his acts anywhere in the world, including those areas which hold relevant ages of consent. Instead, he chose to break the law.

All those who are bringing law suits are not underage .
They are in their twenties and knew what they were doing .
And in some of states the age of consent is 17 .
So he wasn’t breaking the law everywhere.
It will be for the courts to decide who gets what .
In Germany these cases get justice but no financial compensation.
I wonder how many would bother if there was not the chance of a very rich reward.
After they have paid their lawyers that is.

They weren't when it happened.

If the original case had been brought to court properly instead of some kind of hidden deal being sought and gained, then these victims wouldn't have to take further action now.

Yes they were .
Yet they are claiming sexual abuse .
They can’t change their birth certificates and the fact that many worked for him for years looks iffy too.
No doubt there are genuine claimants but there are plenty willing to jump on the financial bandwagon too.
What original case ?
He was charged with a sex crime was found guilty and served a prison sentence .
Why didn’t they come forward at that time ?

I can’t sand Prince Andrew and he deserves all he gets trouble wise
BUT
Until America sends back the woman who killed that poor boy on the motorbike by driving on the wrong side of the road why should he go back ?

Bernie Ecclestone has no problem marrying someone old enough to be his granddaughter clearly men don’t all feel the same way .

However in all these cases and there are many there is one common denominator.

The older man is a RICH older man.

Beautiful young women do not marry POOR old men.

Many of them did. But, for reasons unknown, he managed to evade prosecution much to their disappoinment as well as the investigating officers involved.
