Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Went shopping early this morning then took dog to have his claws cut.The groomer is only open for welfare issues, cutting claws being on the list.
Had a heavy hailstone shower earlier-the ground was white, sun shining now.
Watched a bit of the snooker yesterday-Jimmy White was playing, what a blast from the snooker past.
Keep safe.

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Glad to hear your family are looking after you so well Jac. Hope you're starting to feel better.

Sunshine and showers here all day, but no hail. There was the most beautiful rainbow about an hour ago, the end of which was in the middle of the field opposite! Forecast for tomorrow is dire - again.

Enjoying the snooker. Did you think Jimmy White had a rug Rhosyn?

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

I'm never much good at spotting rugs, but even I noticed how odd his hair was!

Grandson and his buddies are playing minecraft together and the conversations are unbelievable. I shall have to drag him away from it soon!

Horrid wet day here, but I shall go over to youngest son's place this evening to meet Lola (the new puppy). Also having a meal, though I hope granddaughter doesn't bring an Indian meal, don't go much on curry.

So another 3 weeks in lockdown. Some schools are to reopen next month. If no big increase in the covid rate things are looking good for Easter.
It hasn't stopped raining today-looks like a wet weekend too.
Stay safe.

Its pouring down here and cold . They brought my washing machine back today, said it only needed a small repair but I've put a few things in to try and it seems to be on the wash cycle and not stopping so think I might have to phone ,

Lovely pupply cuddles with Lola last night. She is so tiny - but all dog! Enjoyed my sausage and chips too but especially the company.

Got down to town early this morning for a few bits and pieces - no-one in the Co-op, it was quite a treat. Bought a paper for a change and started reading it after lunch only to nod off! Just come back to life and a different snooker match and made a cup of tea.

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

It's not raining-shouldn't think there's any left after the deluge the last two days.
Glad you enjoyed your visit Sue.Puppies always manage to make you smile.
My 2yr old great grandson had to have a covid test yesterday-he had a high temp and kept spitting out his favourite strawberry yogurt and pulling faces. After checking with out of hours doctor granddaughter was advised to have the test.Had the result this morning-it was negative, thank goodness.
Stay safe.

Goodness, these grandchildren do give us some frights don't they? Glad your gt. grandson is OK Rhosyn.

Have sorted yet another load of washing and that's it for today. I'm getting so lazy. Made a big pan of soup on Friday, so that takes care of lunch for today.

Just listening to Sophia Loren on Desert Island Discs - like her music.
