The Torys government removed indeterminate sentences altogether .So he appealed and the appeal board ignored the directions of the original judge who had recommended he not be released under it was sure he was of no future threat to the public.
The parole board are denying responsibility.
But someone must have authorised his release .

Also the people who decide that these folks can be released from an indefinite sentence are culpable because of their decisions. They have a responsibility as well. How (and why should) our police be expected to implement anything if this is what happens. They must think it is a total waste of time.

The appeal court didn't have to release him. You can't blame the Tories for every mistake. it was down to the Court surely.
The court of appeal should all be brought to brook to explain their actions.

Why can’t we take innovative action seeing as the bleeding hearts will not countenance capital punishmentPut all these terrorists on one of the outer Shetland island for life .
Drop a load of supplies by helicopter once a month.
Including a few cooking knives
Let them live or die with each other .
