Rona, your wee uncle is like my dad, they need their own routine and environment. Take them out of it and they can't function. That's great you're going over to see him then. Pity they couldn't do it all in a day, or two. It's a blooming shame.

Re: Over 50's Scotland (Part 2)

hello ladies and thanks for all your kind words about Ben. Yes it was worrying when he wasn't well, just need to wait on a date for the tests. I'm still feeling awful, its gone down into my chest now but it will pass eventually i'm sure. I don't feel like eating either so with any luck I'll lose a few pounds!! I've had to drag myself to work this week I can tell you! Was speaking to my dad on the phone earlier and he is choked up as well so he's just staying in and keeping warm. Myra sorry to hear about Martin's mum but she obviously isn't going to let it stop her..good on her. Rona when is it you go down to see your brother? Hi Jess if you're still buzzing to do housework you can have a shot of my hoover if you like hehe. I asked Ben to wash dishes today as I just couldn't be bothered last night and when I got home he's washed, dried and put them away.. and on top of that hoovered up. It'll probably be another 6 months before that happens again hehe.

Dorothy, that was good of Ben helping out like that, and am sure you really appreciated it as well. Hope you feel better soon.
Jess you will have to keep us informed about the meet, as I cant see what Ade posts on Facebook.

Morning all.

Dorothy, sounds like you should've spent a few days in bed. Sounds like your cold was really bad. You'll be so glad the week is nearly over.

All the best for today Rona x

Jess, I saw Ade said the date could be 10th June. That would've been great, but we're away. It might change so we'll see.

Catch up later.
