It never occurred to me that they couldn't see colours. Cats and dogs can - why not horses?

Someone I knew had a horse that would not walk pass red cars.

A horse’s vision is similar to a person who is red-green color blind. They only see blues and yellows.

Police offices were lucky not to have been thrown off. They both reacted simultaneously.

Maybe it was partly the colours, and partly because they also spooked each other by then?
Either way, poor things were upset.
