What contributions have we made………..?

As we move into the sunset days of our lives what contributions do we think we have made to ourselves, our family, village/town, nation and other nations?

Well I must go first mustn’t I?

1.I think I have always believed in myself, and developed more self-confidence over time which has stood me in good stead for all I have achieved.

2.Made my final peace with siblings, and continued the parental skills through my own similar skills.

3.Ensured that the family name will continue through the male line!

4.Made a contribution to towns and nations through my work in the health industry.

5.Visited many countries and therefore have shared their cultures in various ways and contributed to their coffers with tourist monies.

6.Have welcomed an Asian person into our family circle and are now linked to his/her family and country in a personal way and carried our family name into the another culture.

Nothing like blowing your own trumpet. I just hope that I've made a positive contribution. Others will judge that.

I like to think I've made a contribution while I walk this beautiful planet.

I've tried to be kind to people. I have always offered help and a listening ear.

I adore my children and grandaughters , always tell them I love them.

I do voluntary work .

In my working life I always gave more of myself.

Not blowing my own trumpet , just know that I'm a decent person that likes to try and make a difference .

I have tried to regulate the Methane output. Honest.

I have had similar experiences as you Gumbud except for numbers
3 and 4. Being a female 3 was impossible for me
I have also tried to do my best for others and saved my family
lots of money looking after the children of my older siblings and
other people. Made it a rule in my childrens upbringing they
read from a early age and both my sons have done well in life.
Bringing them up with a fair way of looking at life and also
giving good advice on the world and its ways.
Tried to help others whenever I could and pass on good information
I have learnt over the decades to put people straight or informed.
So feel I have done my best and help people which I always felt
from being a child that this was what I had to do in life.

Not a lot,I may have made a few folks laugh,helped out a couple when they were in need. Just a bog standard widower trying to do what little I can.

I would say I have made a contribution which will live on after I have gone but I do not wish to go into details .

I am sure we have all done the same in our different ways...

Not really comfortable with saying but I hope others will judge I did my best and beyond on occasion.
