Computing Courses and Mandarin Chinese.

These are Post Grad Courses.

He is doing Google Courses and others.

There is one which would have cost him $25000, which they have now made free.

His area of expertise is very different to mine.

I am a blunt Northerner, ace at Enforcement and a Nuclear, Chemical and Biological Specialist.

We both have Combat Medical and Close Protection Certificates, but that is where it ends.

I must admit I am not bored either. I have a telephone circle of friends and acquaintances that call each other most days to check on each other and see if anything is needed. I also try to ring my kids after their work and my brother in the UK every couple of days.

Each morning I have about a 1.5 hour walk.

Then I have been making lists of jobs I need to do such as fixing my old lawn mower, tidying my work bench, modifying my camper etc. Just one thing each day because they have to last.

I even allow 5 minutes a day for gardening (any more would drive me up the wall) which is mostly pulling up weeds or watering things.

Reading a few chapters of a book passes some time - limits to this because the library is closed so am relying on ebooks a lot.

Finally there is Netflix, the odd episode or movie can pass the time nicely. I have never watched so much TV in my life but it is OK for now.

Don't have much time for being bored and am relatively happy with my lot at the moment though I sometimes remember that I was supposed to be driving to Darwin at the end of this month but won't be now.

Just learned the outro solo to Rosanna, it's been on my to-do list for years but the boredom finally got to me.

Cool beans ... time to leave my COVID-19 induced Gulag and visit Tesco for something with cheese

Oh my ... I've put on about 3lb because of binge eating creme eggs. I'm self isolating myself from the "naughty tin" where we store all the chocolate.

I'm going to give it a 2. At this point in time my glass is half full so to speak, give it a couple of weeks and I may well be pulling my hair out, if I had any!
I'll be dipping into my DVD's, an episode of Captain Scarlet or Dad's Army every now and then is a distraction , and then back to the washing up!

Good you have chocolate, Bread. I just ate a bar of Cadburys dairy milk, after my lunch I will add. Need to ration mine as I only shop once a week.

Re: What's your Boredom level Today?

No boredom here. In fact i'm thoroughly enjoying the fact that i'm saving so much money! Only going food shopping one day a week. I've had no loose change in my pocket and no folding money in my wallet for several weeks plus i'm able to transfer extra cash into my savings account each month. Went a bit mad in Sainsburys this morning tho'. I picked up two bags of double dipped chocolate toffees, two boxes of Lindt Chocolates and a Little Heroes Easter Egg. Well you've gotta go mad sometimes and this was one of those times.

Re: What's your Boredom level Today?

I'm so bored, with being in Lockdown, that I've started having conversations with all sorts of things.

For example, I went out in the rear garden, and discovered a very large weed.

I said "Ah! you're getting the chop".

it replied, "you can't do that, I'm in Lockdown",

"Anyway", it said, "I'm in NATO, so there".

So I urinatoed on it, and walked off.
