The Hiding Trees

About five feet from our back deck are the 'hiding trees'.
This is where my boys head when they want to 'hide' from us.
There's been a bunch of reasons over the years: caught digging, caught counter-surfing, was time for meds of any kind, time for nail clipping, etc.
Dinty was the first one to use them about 8 years ago when he was 2, and called inside after constantly barking at nothing.

This picture is from around that time.
And yes, he's looking right at me! "You can't see me mum!"

Today my black darlings saw the brush come out, and hightailed it to their hiding spot.

The trees are a tidge bigger (short growing season here!), and the boys don't hide nearly as well as they once did!
But they still think they're hiding!

Re: The Hiding Trees

Wonderful, love it. Dogs can be so funny when they think they are hidden from view.

Re: The Hiding Trees

The very best part ?
They could leap out of that camouflage and eat fauna-killing cats !
