Re: Nigel Farage

Farage in his element, addressing the EP to jeering and derision, telling them the truth of their shoddy political union.

And another here where he lays into the President challenging him about who elected him

Brilliant stuff

Just look at this rag tag collective of self-styled EU bureaucrats running their dictatorship. Why the hell would want to be a part of that rabble.

Perhaps but that is par for the course for politicians from all sides.

Ah, so free speech is dead!

I wonder what other government policies will become a criminal offence to criticise.

It will come into practice at some point , eventually. Too big an issue to create an agenda for a hypothetical case.

Watching VERHOFSTADT getting angry during a debate on migration in the EU parliament , put everything into perspective about how each country will be expected to take their quota of migrants, and HE was livid about the fact that UK hadn't taken enough of those in Calais. Saying that was the issue in hand rather than discussing Brexit. Quoting a figure of 100,000 being there, maybe he thought UK should have obliged ! Had we not be leaving the EU, the same would still apply. Isn't this one of the major reasons Farage pushed so hard for Brexit ? I thought it was.
Yes, immigration was of major interest in the Brexit movement.

Verhofstadt, along with other EU leaders, is pretty upset that we have not taken in more locusts simply because continental Europe has accrued more than they can cope with.

He should be angry with Merkel and not us.
