There it was again; that aroma. I know I'd been a PI for a long time but what now - I was turning into a police sniffer dog? Whatever, my nose twitched and my nostrils expanded; I sampled every aroma emanating from her to such an extent I could almost taste them. This trollop had met my prey very recently. I would get to her in due course, first I had to subdue the bouncer - no problems there, I welcomed the intrusion.

I think my PI had one too many last night. Hair of the dog seems a good idea, especially as he has turned into a 'sniffer dog' .
