Re: What were you doing in 1984?
I was 32. Early years of my own practice. I was also playing in a band and as well, in the very early years of my relationship with my now wife of 30 years. As one would expect, Prime minister THatcher was seen here by conservatives as a strong leader with firm policies; by centrists as having unnecessarily harsh social policies and by those on the left as a monster. That's about it.Re: What were you doing in 1984?

I was planning on moving house. Although I loved the house I was in, the area had gone downhill. In a short space of time - I had been flooded, burgled, and attempted burgled. Plus I had changed work place to the other side of town. Took me two years to finally move - but the planning began in 1984.
