You could always use them as draught excluders or in place of sandbags in case of flooding.

I need to put them on the outside, as it seems to be windier in that out.

Mups , I think the cyclone hit us last night , phew it was scarey, thank goodness I'd been shopping and emptied the supermarket of bread and milk I'll be stuck in upstairs for days unless rescued by the firemen with big ladders and boats .

Yes like you one of my garden pots blew over , I watched in horror as it rolled round and round the garden , my fence was moving and my tinkle bells jangling . The papers were right we were wise to hunker down .

SOS

All bread and milk sold out due to those panic shoppers in Dorset. Situation now desperate .

Re: WARNING! Britain braced for Mega Cyclone!

My daughter text me yesterday , mum be aware there is a bad hurricane coming , make sure your safe , ( oh bless , she does remember me ) .

Scare mongering by the media , making people afraid . I know it's stormy , and here where I live it's a bit blowy and gusty , yes we are lucky because I believe in the North it's quite severe . But can it really be called a cyclone ?

How are you all in the North is it really bad ?

Re: WARNING! Britain braced for Mega Cyclone!

No high winds where I am at all ...just a bit of a breeze.

Us Yorkshire folk are tough though so maybe a gentle breeze here is a hurricane to you lot.....runs for the hills
