It says she was wearing it because she has had blood clots. So not such a fashion statement. I can understand if they want to ban outfits that will distract the other player. That would be an unfair advantage. Ideally they should be dressed more or less the same purely to focus on the game and have a level playing field.

It doesn't look very comfortable to Me and rather tight around the upper arm and other areas!..can imagine it would be soaked through with sweat after a couple of hours on court.

Serena definitely won't be able to wear that outfit at Wimbledon as they have a strict dress code for their players, almost entirely white.

so generally speaking [in sport that is] white is better than black??

Ok step by step - can you give an example 'in sport' where another color other than white would be more appropriate? OR should 'white' always be the dominant color?
