Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Nice sunny day here . No news from daughter yet ,I'm going to wait for them to phone .No news is good news sometime .
I'm still walking like an auld wuman. Think its more my hip than my back now . I was told years ago that I had some Arthritis there . Could do without it now
I've started eating out of freezer and will have to ask the kids to replenish next week . no more slot for home delivery
Take care xxx

Cloudy this morning-rain forecast later, the garden could do with it but once it starts raining it doesn't know when to stop.
Going to catch up on some tv today.
Keep safe.

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

I feel your pain Jac. Between my knees and my foot, I'm crippled up these days. Do you know what I came across this morning? Doing some vague dusting and tidying, amongst the jigsaw puzzles (don't ask) was your story of your time abroad. That kept me quiet for a bit!

Thick cloud here, but it's not raining yet. Have done a load of washing so hope to get that dry.

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Rain and much colder this morning.
Got the slow cooker on the go enough for a couple of meals.
Ordered an Ewbank which came yesterday.I'd forgotten how handy and good they are for a quick carpet clean.
Son still on the hunt for chrome book within my price range.
There's a minute silence at 11 this morning to remember the key workers that have died during this dreadful pandemic.
Stay safe.

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Raining now but had a dry walk @6.40.
New chrome book arriving today between 11.40 and 12.40.So that's my afternoon taken care of.Told both sons to standby their phones in case I need help with setting it up(which I probably will do!)
Son no1 manged to get some fence paint for me in B&Q and he didn't have to queue to get into the store.
It's strange- I seem to know the date but don't seem to know what day of the week it is.
Keep safe(and sane!)

Well done Rhosyn. I don't suppose I could have done that.

After a dreadful morning the sun came out this afternoon and it was lovely.
DIL and youngest grandson came to collect the chocolate muffins I made this morning and son came later and sorted out my shredder that I had managed to jam! Result.

Some rain here and waves are high and some surfers are in .
Good news from Tesco, just got a slot for 13th as well as 20th so should be able to cope .
Laura brought my shopping down yesterday , she didn't stay long and she was really uncomfortable sitting here .She had been to work in Boots and the worried she had her work clothes on !
Not doing much today
Keep safe xxx
