Re: Advice needed please
I wouldn't get them in, the water butts are in the way. Thats another reason for the tall plant to take the focus away from the butts and wheelie bin. So I can't have anything prickly either and a cotoneaster is okay I've got a couple elsewhere in the garden but a bit boring. Thanks for the suggestions though, where is Mr. T when you need him.Re: Advice needed please
I have seen a climbing fuschia for sale, anyone grown this? I love winter jasmine but unless tightly clipped it flops everywhere, although its a sheltered spot its a very small space, ivy would be ideal if it didn't root in and not know when to stop.I've also seen a perennial scented sweet pea too, I think I might investigate that further. Forsythia is beautiful, I've one in the back garden, no wonder its grown everywhere. My neighbour has one and it lights up the whole street, just what you need after a long dark winter.Re: Advice needed please
No I didn't but will now. in fact I love the smell of honey suckles, I know they can be a bit messy but I'll get OH to put up some trellis for it to cling on to, or wires.
