Another gadget

Anyone got one of these ? . . . . I dug this out of the cupboard last night, . . . had it for decades, . . . . it's great for letting you know how much moisture's in the grow bags or pots . . I paid £9 for this one many years ago, . . you can still get then, . . it takes the guess work outta watering.

At first glance I thought you had your own parking meter there, Nero!

Never seen one of those before, good idea and was a bargain at £9!

I've heard of them, never seen one. Handy thing to have.

Re: Another gadget

I have one in the garage somewhere, bought it in 1976 when it was hot. Living in the lake district means that I dont really need one.
Cant remember how much it cost, just that OH thought it was expensive.
