One for the ladies. Maybe.

I detest ironing, so I try to keep myself entertained while I plough my way through it

I do the chore in a spare bedroom and watch telly at the same time.
Under any other circumstances I never watch day time telly.

Oh! Well back to the ironing board

I must have some music on when ironing, it seems to make the task less tedious!

Re: One for the ladies. Maybe.

I hate ironing and prefer to iron things straight from the washing line when they are still a bit damp.
I iron in the kitchen while listening to the radio, I can't do it watching TV , it takes too long if I do .

My Dad used to love ironing and he was very good at it too

Re: One for the ladies. Maybe.

My missus likes ironing, so she says. I ironed a shirt once when she was away with her sisters, she had some ready ironed but not a white one and it had to be white for this occasion. I wouldn't fancy doing a lot of it though.

It was my task as a teen to iron all my dad's shirts and I'm actually very good at it but these days if it need ironing I don't buy it.
