Just to say we have the Balloon Fiesta in Bristol this weekend, hoping some float this way, and a Tattoo Convention in Trowbridge on the 27th, worth a look if you're into that sort of thing.

Hello - I'm now another one of the new faces!
I live in a village near Wincanton, just 2 miles from Dorset and 4 miles from Wiltshire.
The lanes and roads are full of signs saying "Welcome to Somerset" or "Welcome to Dorset" or "Welcome to Wiltshire" as they meander around the area.

Just back from my weekly gardening volunteer day. So how quick can grass grow?

Hardly fair when the title only mentioned Somerset being the only county in South west England what about the rest of us who live in the South west
eg Devon Dorset and Cornwall, we are all part of the south west not just Somerset.
